The Education Department of the Shakespeare Theatre Company is pleased to
offer an exciting array of Master Acting Classes designed to engage students
of all levels with the art and craft of theatre.

Our theatre is committed to providing a dynamic approach to acting the classics, affording actors the opportunity to explore and develop the tools needed to perform texts by Shakespeare and other playwrights of the classic repertory.”
- Michael Kahn, Artistic Director Master Acting Classes provide participants the opportunity to study with Shakespeare Theatre Company teaching artists—working professionals who teach voice and speech, stage combat, acting, Shakespeare, movement, mask and audition techniques. With an average class size of 15, these courses offer close interaction and individual attention.

Important Info Location: Classes are held at Shakespeare Theatre Company Rehearsal Studios 507 8th Street SE and 516 8th Street SE Both facilities are two blocks from Eastern Market Metro (Orange and Blue Lines). Registration/Tuition:
- Register online or call the Shakespeare Theatre Company Education Department at 202.547.5688.
- Tuition is due in full by time of registration.
- Classes are subject to minimum enrollment.
- Tuition is non-refundable.
- Limited discounts are available; please call the Education Hotline for
more information. Multiple discounts cannot be combined.
Early Registration Discounts: Register early and receive $25 off tuition!
- Fall session deadline: September 1, 2009
- Winter session deadline: January 10, 2010
- Spring session deadline: March 22, 2010
